In Latvia the Civil Defence course is a compulsory course for all higher education study programs. The aim of the study was to find out the attitude of the students of pedagogy specialties of the University of Latvia towards the Civil Defence course, to study the students' self-assessment of understanding the most important topics of the Civil Defence course and the most important insights learned by students during acquiring the Civil Defence course. Con la sentenza Cass. Sez. IV pen., 24 giugno 2022, n. 24388, la Suprema Corte svolge importanti precisazioni con rifermento alla natura della fattispecie di intermediazione illecita e sfruttamento del lavoro, fornisce anche un contributo utile alla messa a fuoco delle possibili forme di realizzazione del reato di cui all’art. 603-bis c.p., ritenendo configurabile il reato anche a fronte di ipotesi di part-time fittizio. Tuttavia, la Cassazione, definendo lo stato di bisogno come la necessità stessa di mantenere l'occupazione, fornisce anche l'occasione per una riflessione sulle criticità di un approccio panpenalistico allo sfruttamento lavorativo.

"In contrast to unemployment, the effect of non-participation and parttime employment on subjective well-being has much less frequently been the subject of economists' investigations. In Germany, many women with dependent children are involuntarily out of the labor force or in part-time employment because of family constraints (e.g., due to lack of available and appropriate childcare). El «ajuste clásico» ha sido interpretado frecuentemente como la senda racional y óptima de modernización del sector agrario. Esto ha llevado a considerar a la agricultura a tiempo parcial como un subproducto (ineficiente) del modelo clásico. Frente a este planteamiento, el artículo defiende la potencial contribución de la agricultura a tiempo parcial (y la externalización de servicios asociada a la misma) al proceso de innovación y de modernización de las estructuras agrarias.
